Walter offers one-to-one lessons in Piano, Composition and Music Theory from his studio in the heart of London’s South Bank

Prices start at just £55 for a one-to-one session

Experienced professional musician and teacher Walter Fabeck is offering personal programmes of music tuition from his newly refurbished studio in the Crypt of St.Johns, Waterloo, a stone’s throw from Waterloo station and London’s cultural heart at the South Bank Centre.

Drawing on nearly 40 years of richly diverse professional music making and education, Walter uses his renowned skills as a pianist and composer to develop skills from beginner to advanced levels.

He can illuminate many styles of music from early classical to contemporary music including Jazz and Improvisation. Many students have taken ABRSM exams in Classical and Jazz Piano, plus Theory, from Initial Grade to Diploma under Walters supervision with a very high achievement rate in the Merit and Distinction categories.

Established in 2007, The Bankside Keys studio is now appointed with two pianos for a fun, engaging and interactive learning experience, and is also a fully functioning production studio for developing ideas through the latest music technology, including Logic and Ableton workstations and the industry standard Sibelius and Dorico scoring platforms.

Current pupils range in age from nine to ninety one years old, while students as young as five are always welcome.

Recitals are held twice a year at the nearby 1901 Arts Club, affording students the opportunity to hone their skills in front of a small friendly audience!

Piano lessons are available from Tuesday to Saturday throughout the day and evening and start at just £55 for an hour of one-to-one tuition.

Free half-hour taster sessions are available.
